A room is more than a list of individual pieces. Before selecting furniture, consider how people will move, gather and use the space throughout the day.
Begin with the main piece
Identify the furniture that sets the scale of the room: a sofa for a living area, a bed for a bedroom or a table for a dining space. Note the available floor area and the positions of doors, windows and access routes.
Build around daily use
Consider what the room needs to support. Seating, storage, side tables and lighting should work together. Leave room for movement and check the dimensions of each piece against your plan before confirming a selection.
Keep a shared material direction
A small palette of finishes can help a room feel coherent. Compare wood tones, upholstery textures and surface finishes together, ideally using physical samples where available.
Bring the brief together
Share a simple room plan, approximate quantities, preferred dimensions and a few reference images. These are useful starting points for discussing furniture options with our team.
